Mika's Japanese Gifts [Tea merchant]
5700 Mavis Road, Unit 7 (at Matheson); 905-755-0440
Mika's sells several varieties of Yamamotoyama green teas. The
shop's real strength, though, is the wide variety of quality Japanese tea
ware it offers at reasonable prices. Large selection of cups, tea sets, Arita wear,
canisters, stainless steel strainers, and teapots. Mika's also carries a nice range of Iwachu cast-iron teapots in various sizes and
designs (a hard-to-find item in the GTA), as well as iron trivets and teacup sets.

The Tea Room at Robinson Bray House [Tea room]
223 Queen Street, Streetsville; 905-542-7674
A quaint tea room located in the historic village of Streetsville, in Mississauga. I
have tried the tea rooms around Toronto, including high-end hotels (attended by famous
movie personalities) and throughout the world and have yet to experience a more enjoyable
sitting. I highly recommend a visit to this tea room if you are ever remotely close to the
Toronto area. (by jason.stacey.money) October 2000
