Three Sisters offers the very best that you can find in a tearoom. Tina & Candy offer a wonderful selection of loose teas, many are custom blends. I have been several times and always get the Full Afternoon tea, which offers a delicious salad and soup, along with scones, fresh fruit, tea sandwiches, and to finish - dessert samplings that are out of this world. You'll want to call ahead for reservations as they are very popular.

I have frequented The English Rose on numerous occasions since opening. Love the bangers, onions & mash. Love the hot, hot tea. Also, the tea sandwiches are usually very good, but egg salad last visit was mushy. Overall, a good local tea room. They sell lovely tea pots and cozies, etc.

Having never made a visit to the English Rose Tea Shop despite being English and living here in Chattanooga for nearly two years, we decided to take a visit one cold February afternoon. It was welcoming and quite busy. It felt like we were in typical tea shop in a market town in England. My son remarked that it even smelt like Great-Grandma Olive's kitchen. The tea was good and arrived hot with plenty of milk. We ordered lunch - which was quite disappointing. The sausages were of a poor quality (all filler)served with fried onions (what about gravy?!), my husband's chicken and vegetable pie was without a crust and distinctly lacking on chicken. Only the Heinz baked beans on toast saved the day! We observed the high [sic] teas being served and were disappointed to see what was included in them. No sign of pastries, fruit cake - just plain, common english biscuits. There are lots of improvements that could be made to the menu overall. What about Yorkshire Puddings? One last comment - the meals were served with an artificial silk leaf garnish - very  strange!
Would you go back? Sorry, no.

The loveliest tearoom I've ever been in. I could have sat there for hours just taking everything in. All was absolutely delicious and so beautiful! Even my husband liked it. I'm from England so it means so much to come across a REAL tea room. We live so far away, but went there every day we stayed in Chatanooga.

There is a delightful enclave of British civility and tradition in an unevenly-restored area of downtown Chattanooga. The most successful renovation in this old Southern downtown is along the riverfront. But Holiday Inn's Chattanooga Choo-Choo Hotel and its across-the-street neighbor, The English Rose Tea Room, make a valiant stand near the former train station amidst a row of decrepit, deserted shops interspersed with the occasional pawnshop. Although I never felt in danger, I was uncomfortable walking the half-block between the two establishments, especially after encountering a homeless person. Not the ideal environment to guiltlessly enjoy a hot cup of tea, knowing another poor soul was enduring the cold January day on a street corner.
Nevertheless, the surrounding area's seediness is quickly put out of mind when entering the delightful atmosphere of this tea room. Open since 1997 on the ground floor of the historic Grand Hotel, this tea room is obviously popular and successful. All tables were full during my visit, and the gift shop was busy with browsers. Do not expect to find the beautifully sculpted confections whipped up in the kitchens of five-star hotels. This tea room is more along the lines of what I imagine one would find in a typical, middle-class English village. Although well-decorated with lace tablecloths, silk flowers, and Royal Albert china, there is a non-fussy, "everyday" feel about the place. One would feel as comfortable here in jeans and a t-shirt as in a pretty dress.
Both afternoon tea and high tea are offered. High tea is served from 11am to 3pm, with offerings of steak or cottage pie, bangers and mash, Cornish pasty, etc. I had the afternoon tea, consisting of six assorted sandwiches, a plain or raisin scone, and four assorted English biscuits. A Victorian tea for $13.95 is also offered, which includes English cheese and crackers, plus a home-made dessert.
Despite a less-than perfect experience, I love this tea room. The food is solid, standard fare. The tea sandwiches are typical, but quite good ... and the most successful course of the meal. The scones, served with a dab of Devonshire cream and plenty of strawberry jam and lemon curd, are exceptional only in their large size. Most disappointingly, though, is the fact that the English biscuits come from a box ... the same assorted shortbreads as one can purchase in the gift shop. Only with the Victorian tea do you get a home-made dessert. Still, for $9.95, you get good value and an unquestionably British experience.
Now, as to the tea, only one choice is offered ... large pot or small. There is no menu of tea selections ... their standard fare is PG Tips. When I asked for a different type of tea, I was shown a tea caddy containing a variety of teabags. Needless to say, I opted for their standard fare. It was well-brewed, decanted, and served beautifully in a large china teapot with a wonderfully-thick tea cozy and "handle-grabber." My server provided brisk, efficient service ... although this briskness detracted from my ability to fully communicate before my server was gone. As a result, my assortment of tea sandwiches was not as varied as I had intended, the tea selection was not my favorite type of tea, and a plain scone was delivered instead of the raisin scone I had specifically ordered. This is a quibble, though, since other servers appeared to linger more at their tables. And at no time was my server less than convivial ... we just weren't on the same wave length.

I want to say to the staff at this tearoom, CONGRATS. The staff were dressed in white tuxedo shirts and black pants. The service was just great. I want to say to the owners that the food was just more than expected. I had never had a scone or a quiche, and both were  delicious. The food was served in a timely manner and served hot. The dishes are to die for. I felt like a queen at Miss Ashley's Tearoom. Anissa, William, Leah and Caitlyn I will be back, and with more guests. I just cannot stop bragging on your food and service. The blueberry muffins are the best I have tasted and they are baked fresh. Thank you again for a wonderful time.

This tea room is located in a one floor cottage-style house in the edge of Cookeville, located on I-40 between Knoxville and Nashville, TN. The ambiance is delightful. The food is delicious and plentiful. Their tea selection includes a refreshing fruited almond-flavored iced tea. We enjoyed a pot of "Tennessee Sunshine" tea and a pot of Pai Mu Tan (white) tea with the "Lady Marpelet's Extravaganza" (full afternoon tea).

What a cozy, comfortable spot to take afternoon tea. And even on a hot, summer weekday, many other patrons thought so, too ... the tearoom was pleasantly busy and active. Noted tea "guru" Bruce Richardson has described the décor as "Victorian kitsch." That is a good description of this restored old home near the center of town, filled to brimming with Victorian décor and gift items. Although many ladies were dressed in their finery, many also were casually dressed. Aside from the charming decor, tea is the star attraction of this tea room. With a wide variety of black tea blends, along with green, oolong, white, decaffeinated, and herbal tisanes, most any taste will be well accommodated. Tea is served loose in a pot. Although my server initially did not understand why I requested another pot for just hot water, she brought it right away after understanding it was to dilute the tea as it continued to brew beyond a desirable strength. Ample food is served with Miss Mabel's full afternoon tea. In addition to the typical tea sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, fruit, and tea pastries, Miss Mabel's also provides soup and savory tart, plus a miniature teacup filled with dessert custard. The food is tasty, and presentation is achieved in three courses, one of which is on a charming three-tiered stand garnished with fresh flowers. All in all, a pleasant afternoon respite.

Ray and I enjoyed our second visit to Miss Mabel's Tea Room yesterday. It takes us almost three hours driving time each way, but the trip is more than worth it! Tea at Miss Mabel's is a totally delightful experience! The tea is always brewed to perfection and the food is out of this world, with a menu that changes monthly. Service is leisurely but efficient. Fay, the owner of Miss Mabel's, is a dear person who sees that every wish is fulfilled. One warning: dining at Miss Mabel's can be hard on the budget, as all rooms are filled with wonderful things to be purchased. I bought quite a lot of things, and I noticed that another customer had armloads of packages, while still others were buying loose leaf tea, jewelry, and other treasures.

I visit many tearooms, every chance I get. I must say Miss Mabel's makes all the others seem just boring. When I got to the romantic tea room I was treated with such grace. It was like having tea at a special friend's house. The food was wonderful and very unique many items I have never had. You can tell the food is homemade and very fresh. The scones were the best I have tasted, the strawberry chilled soup was divine, and they even served me a dessert for the fourth course in an adorable teacup which I got to KEEP because it was my birthday! I had the strawberry green tea to drink, which was served in three-cup teapot that was refilled when I asked. The service was so kind and very fast even though they were busy with many other guest. Miss Mabel's is also the cleanest tea room I have ever been in; the bathrooms even had personal hand towels to dry your hands off with. The gift shops had so many bone china teapots, teacups, and other tea related items to choose from. I also loved all the teapot jewelry; they even have an artist who makes the cutest teacup and teapot pins made out of the china that gets broken in the tea room. The prices for the gifts and the afternoon tea were much lower than any other REAL tea room. I even had to ask for a box because I could not leave anything behind. I have already made reservations for my next visit because it is hard to get in on a Saturday (I have to wait three weeks). Since I have been to Miss Mabel's I can see why they fill up so fast. I plan to bring all of my family and special friends on their birthdays so they get a free teacup with dessert. I think everyone needs to be treated to such a wonderful place like Miss Mabel's tea room.

A friend and I attended afternoon tea. The selection of food was unique, varied, and generally very good. Unfortunately, the quiche was served cold. The sorbet was brought out before we were halfway through our tea tray and had melted by the time we were ready. Our tea was never refreshed and became cold and acidic. We had to ask for sugar but it was at least cubed and not loose. The shopping was wonderful and the variety of tea offered was truly memorable. It is definitely worth a second visit.

On a recent visit to Opryland to the Red Hat Society Convention, my group made a detour to Dickson to visit Miss Mable's. Our whole experience was tip-top! We got very personalized attention from the owner, Fay Davidson. We each got a different tea, served to us in various china pots. Each was a premium tea, and well worth the drive. The food was presented in a beautiful manner and was delicious too! A wonderful variety and more courses to afternoon tea than most places. I would highly recommend a trip to Dickson. There was a wonderful article in Southern Lady's spring edition which will show you the wonderful ambiance of this tea room.

What a fabulous tea room. There are about 70 kinds of tea to choose from. A wonderful variety. We had a delicious "Victorian Mother's Day Tea" on a Saturday. The food was just as good as the selections of tea. The gift shop, which is all over the house, upstairs and down, was magnificent. In past reviews, the reviewers said the tea was served in a teacup. This is not so. The loose tea is served in a teapot ... then poured in the teacup. It has always been served this way according to the owner. My only wish is that I was closer to this wonderful tea room. When my travel take me from NC, and I am anywhere near TN, I will call again.

This is a wonderful place to take a friend to make them feel special. The food is excellent and the service makes you feel like you are the only one in the tea room. I love the beautiful teapots; they provide a personal strainer and use cubed sugar -- white and brown. This was my friend's birthday and she received a small tea cup that would have had a dessert in it but we were too full. What a memory.

On a beautiful fall day in Tennessee a couple of years ago, my sister-in-law treated me to lunch and tea at Miss Mabel's Tea Room. When we walked into that charming house we felt we had truly stepped back in time. Every nook and cranny was lovingly decorated with country and Victorian items from a bygone era. The luncheon was delicious to put it mildly and there were so many teas to choose from that I'm glad they focus on just a couple of special ones each day. Afterwards we spent a long time roaming every room and bought each other special keepsakes so we would always remember that special afternoon. I live in the Seattle area but often think of that wonderful trip to Miss Mabel's and hope to visit again someday.

I highly recommend visiting this tea shop. Both the owner and her husband have a vast knowledge and enthusiasm for their teas. The only thing I would change that I think would be a wonderful boost for their business would be to offer an area to enjoy tea in the shop or to prepare a "Cup-to-go." I understand that can be quite a huge undertaking with kitchen requirements, zoning, etc., but once you smell the wonderful aromas, the drive home is too long to wait to prepare your newly purchased tea! It is a wonderful addition to the Farragut are and I wish them all the best!

I am happy to report that, during my second visit to Lillie Belle's, I found all elements of their afternoon tea service to be delightful. During my previous review of January 2003, I had been quite taken with both their setting and their delicious food. But I reported a weakness with the important tea element, as well as their service. Well, that has all been taken care of beautifully. There were several selections of tea, and it was well-prepared and presented with a tea cosy to keep the teapot hot. Although my server was not a tea drinker and could not advise me on the distinctive qualities of certain blends that were offered, she had been a waitress for 22 years and provided excellent service. As a tea afficionado who has visited tea rooms from coast to coast, I am thrilled to report that Lillie Belle's Tea Room provides an excellent tea experience in all areas: tea, food, setting, and service.

Our party consisted of three novices to tea and one experienced friend who has been "doing" tea for several years. She was just as impressed as we were. The food was absolutely delicious, an excellent selection was provided, and of more than sufficient quantity to satisfy all of our appetites.
There was an adequate selection of loose teas which were delicious, all of the pots had cozies, and the service was well presented. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff very polite and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more.
Now that I am home, I am telling all my friends about my experience. I am recruiting some of them to try a few of our local tea shops in the near future. I can only hope that their first tea experience will be as enchanting for them as tea at Lillie Belle's was for me.
If you are anywhere near Nashville, take the time to travel to Lillie Belle's in Franklin. You will be delighted.

Overall, a thoroughly delightful experience. The tea room is located well within the historic Main Street district of Franklin, TN. There are plenty of boutiques and antique shops to browse pre- and post-tea. And, of course, the historic home in which the tea room is located is lovely.
The food is excellent, and served in abundant quantity for a reasonable price. The ambiance is charming, and the table setting is pretty with flowers and china. My only quibble is with the tea itself. First, there is a limited selection ... three black teas and some herbal "tea" infusions. Second, the tea came to my table lukewarm. I had to send it back to get it to the proper temperature. And third, there was no tea cozy available to keep the teapot hot.
My overall impression is of a lovely tea room with possibilities for being an outstanding tea room. Service needs to be a tad bit more knowledgeable and attentive. But mainly, tea selection, Served, and presentation needs to reach an acceptable level for this to be a truly fine tea room.

We visited The Wild Plum Tea Room by recommendation of the Bed and Breakfast place we stayed in. The place was quaint, rustic but with a lovely ambiance -- we loved the place settings, and the beautiful classical  music. We have traveled in so many countries in Europe as well as Asia, but the lovely iced tea served for us is uncomparable. I have tried to find the right ingredients to catch The Wild Plum iced tea, but have not succeeded up to now. If we go back to the Great Smokey Mountains, we would surely drive to eat at this wonderful place, AND HAVE A TASTE AGAIN OF THEIR WONDERFUL ICED TEA! This place has brought one of the most wonderful experience and memroies in our world of travel!
Would you go back? Hope so, but we don't live nearby.

If you are looking for a traditional English Tea, you won't find it here, but if you are looking for a refreshing Southern Tea -- you will enjoy the Wild Plum. I was hesitant based on some reviews here, but was pleasantly surprised -- and happy I knew what to expect. It was a very hot day and I was seated on the screen porch. Their house iced tea (flavored with orange) was very refreshing and my glass was never empty. The service was outstanding. I had the Greek quiche special for the day and it was delicious. The waiter wouldn't take "no" for an answer on dessert and accommodated my request for just a slice of pound cake. They have very elaborate desserts and this would be a fun stop on the Arts & Crafts loop for a little pick me up. The setting and décor are very very nice.

My husband and I met up with my parents in Pigeon Forge to go hiking and to visit the area. One of our outings was to The Wild Plum Tea Room. On arriving we spotted a quaint wooden building with a beautiful garden surrounding it. We were seated inside their glass-enclosed front porch. Our server was very friendly. We all ordered the Wild Plum Tea, which is their only tea. The tea is named after the establishment and not made with plums but with a citrus flavoring. Our lunch was nothing to brag about.  However, the homemade desserts made up for it. If we ever went again to the Wild Plum we would just order a dessert and tea.

Not a place for true loose leaf tea, but the "house blend" they offer (made with a powdered orange drink added to tea) is very tasty, and offered hot or iced. A great place for a light lunch along the lines of chicken salad and fresh fruit. Not a true tea experience with scones and such, but very enjoyable nonetheless. The wild plum muffins with wild plum jelly are not to be missed.

This is a cute tearoom nestled in the mountains of Gatlinburg. We had a hard time finding it only because we didn't know our way around and it is located off the beaten path. The chicken salad was great and presented beautifully. I was too full for dessert. I would have liked afternoon tea but I don't think they serve it. My only disappointment was when one of  the younger waitress was being rude to an older waitress and treated her like she didn't know how to do anything; that made an unpleasant experience for my husband and me and it was hard to enjoy our lunch.

I was very disappointed in my first visit to this "tea Room." The house tea that they serve by default was a sweet fruit juice mix that I personally could not taste any tea. When I asked for a real cup of tea they brought out a chest of tea bags that were 90% herbal and none of the regular teas appealed to me. This was my first experience with a tearoom and I was hoping for a good tea experience. The location was beautiful and the service was fantastic but the dessert servings were incredibly small for their price. Overall I would not visit this tearoom again.

The establishment refers to the Wild Plum Tea Room as being like an Austrian tea room with a cozy, intimate setting, small tables with white tablecloths. The Wild Plum tea is very good served hot and is a sweetened tea with citrus juice and spices. While the service, tea, and food are not a typical afternoon tea experience, it is very special and enjoyable.

having lived in england for 6 years and marrying a british gentleman, tea is a very important part of our lifestyle. i love to host tea parties at my home and share this wonderful time with friends so when my friend asked me to visit the wild plum with her i jumped at the chance. the only word to discribe it is perfect! the tea, served hot or cold along with every item on the menu is homemade. real cream tops many of the luscious deserts and the hard part is knowing what to choose. i enjoyed the entire experience so much that i took my daughter when she came to visit and she can't to come back. if you truly want a special time to spend with some one special, the wild plum is deffinatley the place to go.

I visited the historic district of Cameron, NC last summer perusing the area for antiques. I stumbled upon a combination tea room/antique shop while there. I was captivated with looking at antiques on this trip and did not have time to investigate the tea room but I vowed that I would one day check these tea rooms out to see what they were all about. You see, though too intrigued with the antiques to dine at this time, I did notice the cozy, homey, and warm atmosphere that permeated the tea room. I couldn't quite think of one word that would describe it then, but now after visiting the Wild Plum Tea Room in Gatlinburg, TN, and visiting this website, the word I was looking for was ambiance. Ambiance definitely exists at The Wild Plum Tea Room. While visiting Gatlinburg, on a reprieve, as I cruised the arts and crafts community, around 11.30 I felt a twinge of hunger and thought where can I have lunch? Well, what did my eyes land on? Why nothing but The Wild Plum Tea Room. The lot was so crowded that I barely found a place to park. I thought: the food MUST be good. Remembering the promise I made to myself to one day investigate these tea rooms, I thought it was time I checked them out. The Wild Plum Tea Room was my first dining experience in a tea room. One that I will never forget. The atmosphere here is the kind you lone for in the home. In days gone by, when things were simple and families enjoyed a nice comfortable meal together and took the time to converse, sat around a fire afterwards talking and enjoying each other's company and not looking at TV .... and when kids played kick the can. I sat out on the verandah near the little brook that ran across the lawn. It was a kind of cloudy overcast day a little cool so when my waiter asked if I'd like my tea hot or cold, I thought a hot cup of tea would be perfect! Well believe me, The Wild Plum Tea (their house tea) was more than perfect, it was absolutely outstanding! I was then served warm Wild Plum Muffins with plum jelly. These muffins are definitely something to write home about. My lunch choice consisted of chicken salad with fresh fruit wedges on the side laid atop green leaf lettuce, and a hot roll with butter. I could not make up my mind which dessert I wanted so I had the dessert sampler trio. The lemon pie with cookie dough crust was my favorite. The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, and the service was prompt and friendly. I'd give it 5 stars! I enjoyed my lunch so much that I purchased one of their cookbooks which contains the recipes for the foods they serve. I thought about this wonderful meal and the quaint atmosphere over the weekend and decided I would go back for lunch on Monday to enjoy the food and ambiance again before I left town. On Monday, I purchased a jar of their Wild Plum Jelly to serve with the plum muffins I would make. I enjoyed my lunch Monday as well. I enjoyed my experience with The Wild Plum Tea Room immensely!!! I'm overwhelmed with my visit to The Wild Plum and plan to dine there each time I'm in the area. If you've never eaten here, please do so the next time you're in the Gatlinburg area. You will agree it is certainly a most wonderful, delightful, and outstandingly great treat! Hats off to The Wild Plum Tea Room!!!

Ms. Melanie's does it right, the tea, the food, the service EVERYTHING! And if  you visit here and don't leave with a bag of tea from her store, you don't know what you're missing. (her chocolate  varieties are especially impressive) We enjoyed ourselves and the experience so much, that about 6 weeks later on a  trip home from Gatlinburg, we drove 1 and 1/2 hours out of our way and took my husband and brother, who were  impressed as well. The tea selection was minimal and they were out of three of the teas listed. The china and tea cups were beautiful as well as the gift shop, but, the tea fare was below par. Crusts were left on the sandwiches and there was not much of a selection of sweets or savories-very sparse. The Hermitage Hotel's afternoon tea now lives up to its potential. I had previously visited and reviewed their afternoon tea in March 2003, shortly after they had begun offering this service. Well, they have made good use of the intervening time and it shows. The food and tea now live up to the exquisite setting and attentive service. Both the tea sandwiches and the scone, along with the pastries, were much more traditional and well-suited for afternoon tea. Several selections of tea were offered, and our server prepared and presented the tea competently and efficiently. This is certainly the most elegant tea service in Nashville, and my sister and I had a thoroughly delightful afternoon here.

Finally, Nashville has an elegant venue for a fine afternoon tea. The Hermitage Hotel has just re-opened after a $17 million renovation, and the results are stunning. Tea is held in their gorgeous lobby, featuring gold-painted ceiling and stained-glass skylight. This is a true low tea, since tea is served on the low tables fronting comfy couches or overstuffed easy chairs. The strains of classical music are unobtrusively heard while enjoying these beautiful surroundings.
Service is attentive and friendly. The tea tables are set with white linen tablecloths and silver tea strainers. Plain white dinnerware, some with the hotel logo, is used for teapot, cup and saucer, and small plate. Although I missed the delicacy of fine bone china, the dinnerware is serviceable. The tea savories and pastries are served on a lightweight, silver-colored three-tier tray.
Six tea selections are offered, ranging from standard English Breakfast and Earl Grey teas to a green tea and some decaffeinated choices. Full afternoon tea may be ordered (tea sandwiches, scone with Devonshire cream and strawberry jam, and tea pastries), or these food items may be ordered à la carte. Sherry selections also are offered.
The tea was served hot, but without a tea cosy. This, combined with a teapot that did not retain heat well, caused the tea to cool rapidly. My attentive server, however, was quite accommodating with my requests for warm-ups. Still, the tea was never sufficiently hot.
Three good-sized sandwiches were served on a variety of breads: sourdough, pumpernickel, and wheat. The bread was chewy and slightly stale, overpowering the tomato-mozzarella and pimento cheese fillings. Only the smoked chicken salad filling had sufficient flavor to hold its own with the hearty bread. The scone was unusually shaped: a thin, round disk which looked like a sugar cookie with rounded top. It was too thin to split, so I put the Devonshire cream and jam on its top. Despite the unusual shape, it was quite good, studded with flecks of dried apricot. The three tea pastries, though, were a disappointment. They were diminutive ... not even the size of a small petit four ... and were comprised of a miniature cream puff, muffin, and cheesecake-like fruit tart. All were bland, without much taste.
All in all, I would say the experience was pleasant but immemorable. And, at $17 with required 19 percent gratuity, expect to spend between $22-25 for tea. Strong points are the exquisite setting and attentive service. Areas needing improvement are the tea Served and presentation, along with the food. The server did tell me that they have yet to advertise their afternoon tea, which began just last month, so as to have time to "work out the kinks." With time and tweaking, this hotel has the potential to serve a truly fine afternoon tea.

My wife and I visited Savannah Tea Room for full afternoon tea, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The appearance/ambiance was very inviting and comfortable. The tea was good, though nothing spectacular. The selection of tea to choose from was impressive. The food was plentiful and delicious. The potato soup was especially good, and the quiche was tasty (though it had probably been made a day or so before and microwaved prior to serving). The sweets were remarkable. The chocolate-dipped strawberries were a pleasant surprise. The experience was a pleasing one, and I'm sure we'll go again the next time we're in Nashville. The only complaint I have is about the price. Even for all the food you get, $57 is a little overboard for two people. Other than that, I did not experience any of the negatives expressed in the previous review. I've been to about six different tea rooms in the  southeast, and this was one of the best.

A very disappointing experience. The chairs are hard and were loosely "covered" with stained cloths. The service was awkward at bes--she may have been new and could have used more training. We had to ask for tea warmers (the next table had them). The sandwiches were inedible, and the pastries had obviously come from the freezer and not freshly-baked. The noise level was bad. The total bill was $24.50 each (including tip) which, considering what you get, is ridiculous. The parking situation is bad, and there was a strong smell of an open sewer outside. Never again.

WE LOVE TEA TIME NASHVILLE! Why? Yes - the tea selection is wonderful, the specialty items are great, the ambience is enjoyable, and there's always something new to explore. But - the best part of Tea Time Nashville is the owner, Kim Carpenter Drake ... soooo knowledgeable and incredibly fun! Everyone really needs to go and spread the word about Tea Time Nashville!

We had a mother's tea and were delighted to find the service and the food wonderful. We also enjoyed browesing the gift area. This is is not an elegant place compared to some but it is definetly a worthwhile experience. We will be doing a mother/daughter tea next.

I happened to be in Springfield today at around 11am so Mom and I went to the tea room for lunch. The food was tasty, the tea excellent, the atmosphere quaint and comfortable. I understand now why my Mother is such a loyal customer. I'll begin making plans to bring my Nashville friends up there for a visit. Congratulations to the Ramsey family for creating an inviting dining environment that really showcases the best parts of small town living. I will definitely be back. Grateful for this hometown treat.

This place is an absolutely wonderful find! I can't get enough of it! The food is fantastic -- service is out of this world -- atmosphere very cozy and comfortable. Worth the drive to Springfield (many neat antique shops nearby). I can't recommend it highly enough.

The selection of tea that was offered was very good. However, the lunch was very poor. I didn't finish any of it. Although reasonably priced, the menu itself was difficult to order from since everything is priced separately. The ambiance of what I consider a tea room was not there. In fact a couple of people walked in with shorts, flip-flops, and baseball hats on. I really felt like it was more of a diner than a tea room. The room is large and hollow sounding, not cozy at all. I believe when you enter a true tea room, you should feel as if you have entered a place that can't be compared to a trip to a fast food place. You should dress according to the experience you anticipate on having, not one you expect anywhere else you might go. I will give it another try someday and have the afternoon tea.
