Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent. Service:
Excellent. Appearance: Excellent.
Comments: They had a nice chef's lunch that is very
satisfying for a male customer who wants more than
finger sandwiches. The lunch menu changes weekly. When we visited we had a hearty cup of soup (my
husband had a free second cup!),a cheese scone,an assortment of fresh fruit, a pot of tea, and chocolate
chip cookies for $14.75. I tried a special tea that was
smoked over pine needles. It was very nice of them
to say that if I did not like it they could brew something
else. I love to experience something new without fear.
They had private rooms for special occasions which
were very nice and cozy.
Would you go back? Yes, can't wait!

Two
Sisters Tea Café & Gifts, Henderson, NV
Visited: June, 2007. Reviewed: August, 2007.
Meal: Cream tea. Type of tea: Loose leaf and
teabags. Served: In a teapot.
Tea: Fair. Food: Poor. Service: Poor. Appearance:
Poor.
Comments: I was sorely disappointed.
On seeing the food, I felt conned. The so called Cream tea was a
farce, I was being served Redi-whip in a small container,
cute it may have been, but Redi-whip is still was.
The scone I reluctantly put it on was dry and seemed to
have been made with concrete instead of flour, the
sandwiches were bland and also crusty (as in left outside for too long)
Brownie bites at high [sic] tea? Never heard of it, and didn't like it, they were clearly
store bought and cut up. The tea was the only good
thing, but I had to ask for milk ... which was was given
with rolled eyes! After footing the bill at almost $40 for
two, I felt like I hadn't eaten anything. I felt conned and
blind sided, obviously these two sisters don't care much
for the intelligence of the general american public,
serving fare that should represent the UK, in fact just
plain embarrased me. I do not recommend this place at
all!
Would you go back? Sorry, no.

The

Vegas, NV
Visited: November, 2002
Meal: Afternoon tea. Type of tea: Loose leaf. Served: In a teapot.
Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent. Service:
Excellent. Appearance: Excellent.
Comments: My
girlfriend and I love to have afternoon tea at the
Four Seasons. When we visit Las Vegas we plan this
little afternoon getaway. They have a menu
offering about two dozen teas. We both chose the
fruited Earl Gray. It was a traditional Earl Gray
with bits of dried lemon and orange peel.
Excellent. The food is served on a three tiered
server. We had two scones each, one with currants
and the other plain. These were served with
Devonshire cream, strawberry jam, and lemon curd.
The sandwiches were very good. We had egg salad,
tomato with a flavored mayo, salmon, and cucumber.
They were served on a variety on breads and cut
into various shapes. The edges on the egg salad
were dipped into parsley. Very pretty. The
pastries were absolutely wonderful. We had little
fruit tarts, and a chocolate cookie with heart
shaped strawberry mousse on top with a heart
shaped chocolate candy on top that. There were
about five pastries for each of us. There was also
a slice of English fruitcake. The price for all of
this is $23.00. Add $10.00 if you would like a
glass of champagne. The service was excellent. We
were not rushed at all. They also had a person
playing the grand piano. After we couldn't eat
another bite the server took the tray and then
came back with a Four Seasons' bag with our extra
scones and pastry packed inside. We wouldn't miss
an opportunity to have tea at the Four Seasons in
Las Vegas.

March, 2008. Meal: Cream tea. Type of tea:
Loose leaf. Served: In a teapot.
Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent.
Service: Excellent. Appearance: Good.
Comments: My friend and I went in yesterday with the
idea to just have tea and scones and check the place
out. However, after stepping foot inside and smelling
the freshly baked scones, we realized we were more
hungry than we thought. When the new owner, Carolyn, who is a professionally trained chef,
personally greeted us and told us about the soups du
jour, we decided on sandwiches and soup as well as
tea and scones. Everything was very delicious and we
will be back again and again! Too bad she is still
suffering from the reputation gained by the previous
owners. Do yourself a favor and check her place out.
Everything is made fresh daily depending upon available ingredients.
Would you go back? Yes, can't wait!

Comments: I have gone to this tea house for the last
2-3 years. This was the only one that was open on Sunday that
serve afternoon tea. I last visit in the Summer of 2007 I dine with my niece and we love it. In
the past the scone and sandwhich was OK but the new
owner the everything (everything) was excellent. I really
enjoy the food and the service. I have gone back and
introduce my family and friend. I'm from SF so I miss
good afternoon tea. My second best is The Four Season the ambiance is excellent but the
food is good/fair.

Comments: The chef herself came out to greet me (I'm
guessing it was one of those family run places, very
personable) After finding out that I was from the UK, she
outwardly admitted that she was nervous about me eating
her food! She gave me the run down of the menu, it seemed that she made everything from scratch and
had daily specials depending on what was fresh from
her supplier. I ordered the High [sic] tea for three which
came with a Cream tea option (my standard measure on authenticity) we each got our very own teapot
with our choice of tea blend. I was amazed at the choices
we had. Chocolate dipped spoons, quiche, bread pudding, lemon curd
pastries, cucumber sandwiches, roasted turkey
..... so much more and all made with such care! You could taste every little ingredient that
she had put into these fillings, the combination of flavors
just amazed us.
Would you go back? Hope so, but we don't live nearby.

Petrossian
Lounge at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, NV
Visited:

Meal: Afternoon tea. Type of tea served:
Loose leaf and teabags. Served: In a teapot.
Tea: Fair. Food: Poor.
Service: Excellent. Appearance: Poor.
Comments: After experiencing the ultimate in high
[sic] afternoon tea in Great Britain and at the Four Seasons
Hotel in Las Vegas, the Bellagio should be rightfully
embarassed to call their mis-service, high [sic] tea. The
pastries were delcious, I will concede that, however the
finger sandwiches were atrocious. I have tasted better
sandwiches made with Underwood sandwich spread from a tin. The service was severely lacking
and I felt the busboy was a better server than our "waitress." A
word of advice to the Bellagio, when serving food, your
staff should not have sleeves which dangle into your
customers dishes. It is very unsanitary and just not
classy. Finally, the location, awful!!! The Petrossian Bar
is just that a lobby bar between the hotel reception area
and the casino- so, you hear everything and the serenity
that is associate with afternoon tea is completely lost.
Not to mention the hoards of nosey and classless tourist who stare while you are trying to enjoy your
"experience." Bellagio- take a piece of advice and drop
your tea service as it is not worthy of your pathetic
efforts.
Would you go back? Sorry, no.

Comments: Of all the places I've had tea,
this was the most elegant, fanciful place yet. The
food was magnificent. You can choose four tea
sandwiches out of a selection of eight. Sandwiches
included caviar, prosciutto, cucumber with salmon,
lobster, etc. The desserts were to die for. When
the food came, all the other patrons in the lounge
wanted what we had and made reservations for
another day. I would visit Vegas again just for
the tea.

Comments: Since it was the Bellagio, I
suppose I had higher expectations for their tea
room. Afternoon tea is served in the middle of
their lobby, which makes it very noisy and busy,
and I found this to be very distracting for having
tea. The food was nice, however, and there was a
harpist playing. But the service felt rushed and
perfunctory. I would not return there.

left something to be desired. The service was very
slow and the food left much to be desired. It
isn't what I expected from such a great hotel.
