Flora
Lynne's, Forest City, IA
Visited:
July, 2005. Reviewed: July, 2005.
Meal: Afternoon tea. Type of tea: Teabags. Served: --.
Tea: --. Food: Excellent. Service: Good.
Appearance: Excellent.
Comments: We stopped for an afternoon
treat on our way through Forest City. The
selection of desserts was great. With our
afternoon delight we had plain iced tea which you
okay. Would be anxious to join them for lunch as
their menu selection seemed enticing. They also
have their own printed cookbook for sale I regret
that I did not purchase one now!!!! Three thumbs
up for Flora Lynns.
Would you go back? Hope so, but we don't
live nearby.

Tulip Tea Room,
Pella, IA
Visited:
July, 2008. Meal: Other meal. Type of tea:
Iced tea. Served: In a glass.
Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent. Service:
Excellent. Appearance: Excellent.
Comments: The Tulip Tea Room is less than a block away
from Pella's town square. There is parking on the street and
behind the business. This is not a place for the mobility-challenged. The entrance is up a short but very steep
flight of steps and the restrooms are on the second floor. This
is the only thing that I saw wrong with this charming
establishment. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the
tables were gayly set. The hostess called for attention
then explained what was being offered for lunch that day. Two of us
had the guave-peach ice tea, the other two had a pot of Earl
Gray hot tea. All of our food was served hot and was delicious.
It was reasonable priced also. If you are ever in Pella, I
recommend it highly.
Would you go back? Yes, can't wait!

Sisters
of the Heart, Prairie City, IA
Visited:
February, 2008. Meal: Lunch. Type of tea:
Loose leaf. Served: In a teapot.
Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent. Service:
Excellent.
Appearance: Excellent.
Comments: It was a nice friendly place where they
answered any questions we had about the tea. It was
served in pots with china tea cups. A nice selection to
pick from and a resonable price. A tea room where
anyone could go just to unwind.
Would you go back? Yes, can't wait!
