Comments: Love the teas! Love the lunches. I
work in the Chugiak, Eagle River area. I find it very
hard to stop at the fast food restaurants. I
tend to pop in at Mountain Mary's from time to time
just to eat healthy!! She is a great cook and
offers unique dishes and they are all healthy!! Soups,
salad, sanwiches! I try a different tea every time!
You can call ahead and get take out too!!
Would you go back? Yes, can't wait!

Tea-Licious

Meal: Dessert tea. Type of tea: Loose leaf.
Preparation: In a teapot.
Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent. Service:
Excellent. Appearance: Excellent.
Comments: I have been very pleased to visit
this lovely tea house every time I visit Sitka. The
lady who runs/owns it is a fabulous hostess with many
suggestions and a vast knowledge of tea. You have got
to try the baked goodies; my favorite is the Key Lime
pie. I would also suggest that you try the white
mochas if you are a coffee lover; Tea-Licious has the
best cup of joe in town. Definitely the Starbucks of
tea houses but with more personality. I highly
recommend.

Meal: Breakfast. Type of tea: Loose leaf and teabags.
Preparation: In a teapot.
Tea: Excellent. Food: Excellent. Service: Poor.
Appearance: Poor.
Comments: Since we were on a cruise, I was
excited to try Tea-licious in Alaska! Unfortunately we
were disapointed. It was counter service, offered only
scones (which were yummy). Since we did not know what
tea we wanted to try, our gal had us sit down and took
our order while she carried on a conversation on the
phone. She was not in a good mood, and we did not feel
welcomed at all. Hope it gets better for that little
tea room.
Would you go back? Sorry, no.
